Shifting to the last weekend in November, the 2026 Rugby Americas North Sevens will take place November 28 & 29. This year’s tournament will be held at the historic Hasely Crawford Stadium in the country’s capital, Port of Spain. Named after track and field athlete Hasely Crawford, the first person from Trinidad and Tobago to win an Olympic gold medal, the Stadium features a grass field that will be rugby-ready, floodlights, and a capacity of 23,000. Not underscoring the beautiful view of the ocean and some notable buildings from the capital, providing an amazing background for two days of non-stop rugby action.
The tournament will feature teams from RAN Full and Associate member countries across the Men’s Tier 1, Men’s Tier 2, and Women’s divisions.
“Moving to the Hasely Crawford Stadium grounds the tournament in the core of rugby within Trinidad and Tobago,” said TTRU President, Kanisha Vincent. “There’s always something incredibly special about playing at the ational stadium, the atmosphere and the energy are absolutely unmatched.” Coming off of two years of hosting, the move to Hasely Crawford is truly a culmination of the country’s commitment to providing an incredible hosting experience for players, administrators, and spectators alike.
The two-day tournament enters in its final stop of Trinidad and Tobago Rugby Union’s (TTRU) three-year host-bid cycle. Matches will be streamed on RugbyPass TV, World Rugby’s home for rugby, for free for all fans across the globe. Participating countries, tournament format, and schedule to be announced.
