Taking place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the 2026 Centro Caribe Games feature a variety of discplines through regional Olympic Committees. The Rugby 7 portion of the event takes place July 15-27, 2026 at Parque del Este Football Stadium. Joining hosts Dominican Republic are the qualifying countries from the 2025 Rugby Americas North (RAN) Sevens and respective Sudamerica Rugby (SAR) representatives.

DAY ONE RESULTS & REPLAYS
After an exciting opening day of the Rugby 7s competition, some strong leaders prevailed as Dominican Republic Men and Colombia Men went 2-0 on the day. Bermuda overtook Barbados in a true Rugby Americas North clash, but fell to Venezuela 19-0. Trinidad & Tobago split their matches 1-1 with a loss to Colombia and a win over Costa Rica. The men’s pools will get seeded once pool play is completed to tee up the path towards Centro Caribe Games glory.
The women’s competition is being led by Colombia and México respectively, making for Day 2’s match up at 10:22 AM a preview of the potential gold medal match. Jamaica started out strong versus Costa Rica before falling to time-old rivals México. Dominican Republic opened up their campaign with a loss over Colombia, but bounced back to edge out Guatemala 17-12. You can find all Day 1 scores here.
