Rugby AmericasNorth (RAN) is excited to announce the dates, venue, teams, and format for the2025 RAN Men’s U19 XVs Tournament. Federación Méxicana de Rugby earned the bid to host this event through 2026, and as great hosts in 2024, the competition returns to FC Total in Querétaro, México July 9-12.
With growth across the region in the women’s game, full international test matches are in full swing for Jamaica, Mexico, and Trinidad & Tobago – shifting the tournament format to feature just one bracket of Men’s U19 competition across the three days compared to years past.
All six participating countries will compete in a round-robin format on Wednesday, July 9 and Thursday, July 10 to determine seeding for the Finals on July 12. After a long hiatus, an age-grade United States side will compete in the event as part of USA Rugby’s national team pathway. After missing out on the 2024 competition due to severe weather, Jamaica is eager to resurface amongst the group and the progress showcased last year across all participating countries.
Rankings heading into the tournament are based on last year’s performance:
#1 USA
#2 Bermuda
#3 Trinidad & Tobago
#4 México
#5 Cayman Islands
#6 Jamaica
Full tournament schedule and broadcast information will be released at a later date. Follow Rugby Americas North on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for updates before, during and after the event.
